Responsibilities
- Work within a team of professionals to develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.
- Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies
- Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization
Skills and Attributes
- Willingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills.
- Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations
- Innovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
- 3-5+ years of increasing engineering experience
- EIT licensure preferred or have passed the FE Exam
- Proficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D,HydroCAD, MS Office
- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management
- Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports
- Experience with GIS Systems is a plus – GIS is one of the tools we use to create better projects.

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Vermont is $80,000-$98,000. This offer is determined based on a number of job-related factors including internal comparators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities and geographic location.
