About Me:
I have been divorced over 4 years now and am ready to find someone to share life and adventure with. I consider myself reasonably intelligent, independent and financially sound. I am dependable, timely and maybe too blunt sometimes. That said you will always know where you stand with me. I have a son, 9 and a adopted son that is 12 that live with their mother and I see them a couple of times a month. I would hope that anyone I begin a relationship with will be understanding of my responsibility as a father, even from across town. Like most folks of our seniority I like just about any kind of music but prefer classic rock, jazz, or country. Probably one of my favorites types is what I think of as gulf western which would be Kenny Chesney, Zach Brown and of course the guy I think invented it: Jimmy Buffet. My favorite thing to do is travel; either around the state, across the country or across the ocean. Hotels or tents, whatever it takes. My father enjoyed showing everyone new places and I feel the same way. There are so many places to see and so many things to do and I am planning on doing it all but I will enjoy it even more with a companion.
Who I'm Looking For:
Not a whole lot new to say here because we are all looking for the same things that were lacking in previous relationship; honesty, responsibility, friendship, serious stuff that makes or breaks a relationship. Some folks like to comment about drama or baggage but all I will say is this; what we are really speaking of is experience and life. If we learn from our experience it is a good thing and we carry the leaned knowledge into the future. If not…… Every relationship have one or two dramas, but i want someone that is honest and not perfect in ways, lol. I will prefer a devoted christian and she must be ready to encourage me toward that direction. Early morning devotion is important when we are together and before bed. Finally, I would like to say thanks for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to hearing from you. If I am a bit slow getting back with you it may be because i was very busy with work or some other things.
